The total variation in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation of an indicated surface from a plane surface of revolution.
It is expressed as TIR (Total Indicator Reading).

Radial Runout (TIR) = 0.3*F_p
Whereas F_p = Total cumulative pitch deviation

It should be noted that any runout of the gear will cause errors!
